Well, I don't know that much about exercise. I'm not a certified personal trainer, I'm not a doctor, I'm not a physical therapist, and I'm certainly not a professional athlete. I am, however, an overweight woman trying to get in shape, so hopefully I'll be able to offer a bit of insight into exercise.

What do I do for exercise? Usually I ride a stationary recumbent bicycle for a half hour, and do some weight lifting for a half hour. Granted, working out for longer periods of time would help me lose weight faster, but I don't have time for that, and honestly.. I really don't like it that much.
